Data Deletion Instructions for Croux Users
At Croux, we understand the importance of your privacy and are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our users. In line with this commitment and to comply with legal requirements, we provide you with the means to delete your account and associated data.
Option 1: Self-Service Deletion Within the App
1. Log in to your Croux account in the mobile app. 2. Tap your profile icon in the top right corner. 3. Tap the 'Delete Account' button at the bottom. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion.
Upon confirmation, your account and all associated personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems. Please note that this action is irreversible. New accounts will be subject to significant approval delays and possible denial.
Option 2: Requesting Data Deletion via Email
If you prefer to request the deletion of your account and data through our support team:
1. Send an email to support@croux.co from the email address associated with your Croux account. 2. Use the subject line: "Request for Data Deletion". 3. Include your full name and any other details that may help us locate your account.
Once we receive your request, we will verify your identity and proceed with the deletion of your account and associated data. We will confirm the completion of the process via email.
Please Note
**Data Retention:** We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, even after your account has been deleted.
**Backup Copies:** Deleted data may persist in backups for a limited period but will not be accessible in the active user database.
**Third-Party Services:** If you have used third-party services in conjunction with our app, you may also need to contact those services to delete any data they hold.
